University Career Center sponsors Education Interview Day

LAWRENCE — The University Career Center at the University of Kansas is sponsoring its 27th annual Education Interview Day from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the Kansas Union ballroom.

Representatives from more than 85 school districts in eight states are scheduled to conduct interviews with education professionals. Metropolitan areas represented from outside Kansas/Missouri include Phoenix, Ariz.; Palm Beach, Fla.; Fort Worth and Amarillo, Texas; Lincoln, Neb.; Chicago, Ill.; and Vancouver, Wash.

Interviews will be conducted between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Interviews may be scheduled on site on the day of the event between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Candidates in all areas of PK-12 education, including administration, speech pathology, music education, art education, school social work, school psychology, counseling and elementary, secondary and special education teaching are welcome. The event is open to all qualified education professionals. There is no cost to attend.
