Comedy Central invades campus with political mockery from Indecision 2008

LAWRENCE — In an election year filled with candidates, issues and enough caucuses to last a lifetime, Comedy Central sets out to spread their unique brand of semi-fair and always unbalanced sarcasm. While Kansas is knee deep in caucus season, Student Union Activities is proud to present the Comedy Central Live Indecision 2008 Tour featuring comedian Greg Giraldo and special guest James Adomian as President George W. Bush. The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Lied Center at the University of Kansas.

Giraldo was a regular panelist on Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.” He also has appeared in numerous stand-up comedy specials and on “The Late Show With David Letterman” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.”

Tickets for this event are free for SUA Preferred Student Card holders or $5 for students and $7 for the general public. Tickets are available at the SUA Box Office on level four of the Kansas Union, the Lied Center box office and Murphy Hall. The SUA box office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets also are available online at www.lied.ku.edu
