Road, parking lot work planned this week

LAWRENCE — Hoch Auditoria Drive, as well as Lots 2 and 21, will be closed beginning Thursday, July 17, for asphalt resurfacing. Lot 33 also will be inaccessible on this date with heavy equipment involved in the resurfacing project.

Lot 2 is behind Budig Hall; Lot 21, behind Anschutz Library; and Lot 33, behind Lindley Hall.

Lots 2 and 21 are anticipated to reopen July 21 if there are no weather delays.

Resurfacing of Lot 33 will begin on July 18. It will remain closed through July 25.

Handicap-parking stalls for these lots will be relocated to the west end of Jayhawk Boulevard until Lots 2, 21 and 33 are reopened.
