KU to take part in statewide tornado drill Tuesday, March 11

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas will practice its tornado response Tuesday, March 11. The drill is one of several that will take place statewide as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, March 10-14.

Douglas County tornado sirens will be tested in the afternoon. KU’s Public Safety Office is encouraging the campus community to discuss emergency response procedures during the drill.
