Students, public welcome to attend Education Career Fair on Nov. 5

LAWRENCE — The University Career Center at the University of Kansas is sponsoring its ninth annual Education Career Fair from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, in the Kansas Union ballroom.

The event is open to students and professionals interested in learning more about career opportunities in education. Attendance is free, and no pre-registration is required.

Candidates in all areas of pre-kindergarten through 12th grade education — including speech-language pathology, special education, school social work, counseling, administration and school psychology — are welcome. School administrators from more than 60 school districts from Kansas and Missouri and from across the country will be on hand. Metropolitan areas outside of Kansas and Missouri that will be represented include New York, N.Y.; Lincoln, Neb.; Des Moines, Iowa.; Honolulu, Hawaii.; and Tulsa, Okla.
