KU Endowment hosts dedication ceremony for Krehbiel Scholarship Hall

WHAT: University of Kansas Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway will lead the dedication ceremony for the university’s 12th scholarship hall.

WHERE: 1301 Ohio St.

WHEN: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20

WHO: Speakers will include Hemenway; donor Carl Krehbiel; Dale Seuferling, president of KU Endowment; and KU student Stephen “Sai” Folmsbee, president of Krehbiel Scholarship Hall.

BACKGROUND: Krehbiel Scholarship Hall is the new home to 50 men. The 18,000-square-foot, three-story building was made possible through a $4 million gift from Carl Krehbiel, who also provided $400,000 for a maintenance fund for the hall.
