KU Libraries book sale scheduled for February
LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas Libraries will host a book sale from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 3-5 on Watson Library’s third floor.
The sale is open to the public on Feb. 4 and 5. On Feb. 3, patrons must have a KU Card to purchase books.
Hardcover books will be priced at $3, and paperback books will be $1. Payments can be made with cash or Master Card or Visa credit/debit cards (no checks). On the last day of the sale, bags of books will be sold for $5.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new books and electronic resources for the libraries’ collections. Unsold books will be donated to Books for Africa, a nonprofit organization dedicated to literacy programs in Africa.
