KU mourns sophomore Robert Weiss
LAWRENCE – University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little released the following statement regarding the death of Robert “Bobby” Weiss.
“It is with a heavy heart that I offer condolences to the family and friends of Bobby Weiss on behalf of the entire University of Kansas community. His loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers.”
Weiss died Oct. 11 at his off-campus residence. He was a sophomore from Colby majoring in biology.
Services are pending.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
