Business school jumps to top 30 in nation

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas School of Business’ undergraduate program advanced to 28th in the country among public institutions, according to recent U.S. News and World Report rankings.

“Over the past few years, the KU School of Business has developed very good momentum that has been generated by the outstanding quality of our students, faculty and staff and the excellent programs we offer,” said William Fuerst, dean of the School of Business. “This year’s ranking places the KU School of Business among the very best business schools in the country, and this is exactly what we’ve been working to achieve.”

Overall, KU ranks 43rd among public universities. The School of Engineering also ranked in the top 50 for public institutions at 45th.

Additionally, KU has 43 nationally ranked graduate programs. Those in the top 30 among public universities, according to U.S. News, are listed below with their rankings.
