LAWRENCE — Nearly 300 law students who are receiving scholarship support from the University of Kansas School of Law for the 2010-11 academic year were honored during a November program for students and donors.
Also recognized were the 19 recipients of public interest summer stipends, who completed summer volunteer work for the benefit of communities in Kansas and beyond, and the many donors who make the stipends and scholarships possible.
The scholarship funds are managed by KU Endowment, the independent, nonprofit organization serving as the official fundraising and fund-management organization for KU. Founded in 1891, KU Endowment was the first foundation of its kind at a U.S. public university.
Scholarship recipients who requested their names be released are listed below by hometown, parents’s names (if available), high school, undergraduate institution and scholarship.
