Search committees announce visit schedules for dean candidates
LAWRENCE — Searches for three key leadership positions at the University of Kansas are nearing the campus interview stage, with on-campus visits beginning as soon as Jan. 24.
Public sessions will be scheduled for each candidate. Names and vitae will be released 48 hours before candidates’ arrivals on campus and posted on the search page at the provost’s Web site, www.provost.ku.edu/search.
The schedules are as follows.
Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
— First candidate, Jan. 24-26
— Second candidate, Jan. 31-Feb. 2
— Third candidate, Feb. 3-5
— Fourth candidate, Feb. 10-12
Dean of the School of Music
— First candidate, Feb. 9-12
— Second candidate, Feb. 17-20
— Third candidate, Feb. 28-March 3
The search committee for provost and executive vice chancellor anticipates scheduling on-campus interviews in February. Visit dates will be announced soon.
