Media advisory: Gov. Brownback to speak at KU Energy Conference

Who: Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback will give the opening speech at the KU Energy Conference, followed by a question-and-answer session with conference participants.

When: 9 a.m. Thursday, April 14

Where: The Oread hotel, 1200 Oread Ave.

Background: Sponsored by the KU Energy Club and the KU Energy Council, the one-day conference seeks to prompt conversation on all aspects of energy policy. The conference starts at 8:45 a.m.
