Fox College Sports show ‘My Campus’ to feature KU, Lawrence
LAWRENCE — The Fox College Sports television network will feature the University of Kansas and Lawrence when its new series “My Campus” debuts at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11.
Kacie Brown, a 2010 KU journalism graduate, is a student correspondent on the show.
The Fox crew visited Lawrence last fall for a football weekend, filming game-day activities on the KU campus and several locations in Lawrence. The episode will feature interviews with Kansas football legend Gale Sayers and Coach Turner Gill.
“My Campus” is a half-hour show that each week will profile two to three unique student-run events at various universities across the country. Erin Coscarelli is the host. The show intends to feature student-run events, concerts, philanthropies, parties and other major celebrations. Each episode will feature at least one student-produced segment, hosted and edited by students from that university’s journalism or communications department.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
