University Career Fair set for Feb. 9
LAWRENCE — The University Career Fair will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, on Level 5 of the Kansas Union.
Organized and presented by the University Career Center, the career fair allows KU students to meet with more than 80 potential employers to learn about internships and full-time jobs.
A complete list of attending employers can be found at the University Career Center website.
“The University Career Fair is your best opportunity to meet with the most employers in one place at one time,” said David Gaston, director of the University Career Center. “Students can take the time to build their professional network with people here to recruit KU students.”
A variety of industries will be represented at this year’s career fair including
— Communications and media
— Government and nonprofit
— Health and human services
— Management, banking and finance
— Sales and marketing
— Science and technology
Booth space is still available and interested employers may register at the University Career Center website.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
