Media advisory: Nuclear expert available to discuss power plant crisis in Japan

LAWRENCE — University of Kansas nuclear physicist Michael Murray is available to speak to media regarding the ongoing crisis at several nuclear power plants in Japan.

The associate professor of physics and astronomy, a recipient of a National Science Foundation CAREER Award, previously worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Texas A&M Cyclotron.

Murray can discuss reactor design, radioactivity and the latest developments in Japan.
